[ At least by the time he gets everyone together again, he's much calmer. Just ... man. Whatever light was in him yesterday has been utterly snuffed out again. It's his own damn fault, really.

... I thought of trying to find out, but there's no point. Regardless of their reason, what's done is done. [ He sounds most tired when he says this. ] No matter what, I'll be out of Love's follower count for the final week. We should focus on convincing someone to switch and take my place.

[She doesn't know how much this might be hurting him, but she can guess.]

Do you need help deciding who to go to?

It's something I'm thinking about. We could use my choice to help in the final trial, or protect a god without many followers left.

...It's hard to know which god that'll be.

[She pauses.]

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would choose Cunning.

[ Yu inclines his head. They both know Cunning's powers are useful, but he wants to hear her reasoning. ]

[But it is true that at the moment, Ambition is in the lead unless they can do anything to change the numbers up.]

Alright. For now we have some options. None of us have Advancement Opportunity so it's not like we could force somebody out that way.

We could potentially use Strung Red and Hopelessly Devoted together.

...I don't know how comfortable I am with not giving someone a choice in the matter.

... same. Let's not focus on that kind of option. What else can we use to convince someone to switch?

[ Even if it's pretty clear the others are forcing their hands. ]

At this point of the competition... people are likely loyal to their gods. It sounded like Sasuke might be convinced, since it sounds like he doesn't stay with any god for very long.

... We don't know for sure that the competition will end at six weeks. Just that that's the minimum.

That's true. If the gods end up in a tie by the end of the 6th week, they'll extend it.

But that means we'll have to force a tie.

... it is possible for the contest to continue past six weeks, but I don't know if we can risk relying on that possibility. If we wanted to force a tie, how would we do it?

We could either get some people to leave Ambition, or we could try and get people from other factions to try and join ours.

We may need to try both. Do we know who any of Ambition's current followers are?

Ludger supposedly was in a previous week, but I don't know if he's still with her.

And at this point, among the people whose alignments I've heard nothing about, I wouldn't exactly be shocked if Catra were with Ambition.

There's also the fact that not all of the gods have had the chance to host. Seems a little unfair for some of them to miss that opportunity.

Yeah. Technically, Sincerity and Ambition have helped with trials, but the point of hosting is to show off their wings and be available for conversation.
