... Well, I shouldn't need to tell you to be careful with her. Disorder and Ambition might be a little misunderstood, but Ruin made it clear that it's perfectly acceptable to dispose of those she doesn't like or need.
More importantly, she told me she values initiative—and that her followers had better, as well. Those who don't take matters into their own hands "need to die", in her words.
[...]
Not saying her followers can't be nice people, but their god is another story. So, just keep that in mind.
[ she doesn't like that. all the gods she's spoken to have been nice, so she was kind of hoping they all were and it was kind of a misunderstanding... ]
I'll be careful.
But I'm more worried about the other follower of Ruin.
[ Madoka closes her journal again, then unwraps the bandage on her hand to show Ray the smiley face that's carved into her palm. it's healing, but... even if someone was just testing their power, carving a smiley face seems... morbid... ]
... If you ever do want to meet her [though ray is dubious if madoka should], she likes cute things. Stuffed animals, cutesy jewelry, etc. Just don't go around sharing that info—I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have people meeting her.
[well then. yeah, he looks a little disturbed at the smiley face. morbid indeed.]
I don't know who it could be yet. They're not likely to out themselves to you, since you've been their victim, so...
[ once he's seen it, she wraps back up. better not to worry people with that. and she nods, looking a bit disheartened that they probably won't out themselves to her. even though that makes sense. ]
I don't know. I think... It's bad to judge too harshly without meeting Ruin for myself... But Sincerity says she's "rotten to the core," and I really like Sincerity.
Unlike the other gods, Ruin doesn't have any ideals she wants to make reality. She just wants the power and control that comes with being leader—complete domination over the world.
It's why she's the last god the others want to see win.

If you do plan on it, I can give you some advice on how to talk to her, based off what other gods told me beforehand and my own experience.
The advice I got was to be reverent. You don't have to sing her praises and you can be a little casual, but whereas some of the gods here treat us as relative equals, I get the feeling that Ruin enjoys her status as someone above us. As she told me, if she becomes ruler, she'd treat her subjects well... because they'd be worshiping her.
For the most part, I just kind of smiled and nodded, non-literally, and came out in her good graces. [a beat.] Then again, she apparently likes Takaomi as well, and I don't know if that guy can even stop being rude, so she might not actually mind some attitude?
[he shrugs.]
Anyway, you'll know you're on her good side if she gives you a nickname. On the other hand, I've been told she can be contrary and that it's not always immediately obvious when she's angry, which is all the more reason to tread carefully.
And it's because at a first impression, you seem like a small, defenceless girl who's too good for this competition. Therefore, you're the one person deemed undeserving of harm, unlike some of the jerks here [ex. ray], and who should be protected.
[ she kind of knows but it's still kind of super embarrassing to be talked about like that... oh well... she doesn't even know what to say about it so just. brushes past. ]
[use it to your advantage, madoka!! <- ray's esteemed suggestion]
With a limited amount of emotional effort to give, it's generally easier for people to sort others into how much they do or don't deserve what they get—or, at least, how big of a deal any harm that comes to them is.
It's better to have balance. I never would have been able to do the amazing things that I've done if it wasn't for having someone else - someone totally different from me - working so hard on her own.

... I don't think... a god like that would be good.
But if you have advice, I'd still like it.

[ but, Madoka gives a shallow bow--! ]
Thank you. That's helpful. I think.

... No problem. You know how many people would be after my head if Ruin cursed you?

It's nice - but I don't understand why people are so... [ gestures?? ]

At least, that's my guess.

... None of us deserve this. Even... Jerks.
